I get a call about the place that the bug is being stored.  I need to move it, the engines, and the tranny’s out of there and bring them home.  The bus is in the way.

so I’m sure that there are many out there that don’t know of the bus. http://pagantek.dyndns.org/type2nut that’s my bus.  After i restored it, I got connected with a really cool guy here in Disgusta and we started a vw club. http://pagantek.dyndns.org/csravwclub it was fun, I met a lot of cool people, and some not so cool…. i got tired of running it after 2 years, and turned it over to the club, and it folded within 2 weeks.  ah well, I learned a valuable lesson.  Never be in charge.

keep in mind that the pages are from a backup, they had their own server, but that has long been gone.  links might be broken, and these pages are over 6 years old.  read that last part again…

So where does that leave us?  i must confess i parked the bus when the rear bearings went, and let that hub assembly rot.  (hang head in shame) so i got the part that i needed, and was able to get the wheel asssembly back on, and i think i might be able to move her tonight.  wish me luck!

i hate those sheet feed scanners that advertise “perfect for archiving pictures” and they arent.  i lost a pic to the grinding gears, but it was a dup, so I’m not too sad.  I did get pics of the zoo….

“The Lion…..Of Judah,…!”   ah those words still haunt me in my darkest nightmares. do you remmebr the colors?  How hard was that to work into a cheer.  “burgandy and white, fight , fight…”

Now, don’t get me wrong…  I had so much fun, with my friends and growing up there, but as i grew and saw the world for what it really was, I saw how much brainwashing was happening - and they didnt even know they were doing it.  It is a portion of what christians believe.  “Be ye fishers of men” (AKA active recruitment campain).

It took me a long time to get to the point where I broke a lot of my training (especially with women) and I still have twinges every know and then even if im doing the right thing, it might not be the xtian thing to do. its a good thing that I’m married; I’m sure that I would have really really bad problems with women if i didn’t meet my SoulMate.

i’m living barely, dad’s still kicking, and the kids are still there.  so theres your 6 month update.

So, what’s cool in the universe.  Everything?  yeah i agree.  Everything is A-ok.  The little stuff that we fret over is pointless, if you really look at it.  our lives are so infinitesimal in the grand scale of things, why fret?  But, hey, enlarge your perspective.  Space is huge, time is supposedly endless. See where you are in the whole thing

So why do we do it?  Perspective.  We perceive time to be moving in seconds, minutes, and hours, and we think in that time frame.  what would we see if we thought ten times faster?  A thousand times slower?  What if we lived a millenia but thought in centuries, would life would be short? 

What about size?   We percive our world at around 6 foot.  What our perception base was at 600 feet?  or 6×10¹⁰ miles?   What if we were 6 million miles tall but only saw 600 thousand miles away, would we be horribly near-sighted?  weird.

Or mass?  We weigh about 90kg (200lbs) each (to make it nice and even). the earth is 6.0 x 10²⁴kg that big.  thats 24 0’s after the 6.  What if we were that size?  What would the moon look like to us?  We would have our own gravity (well, you know what i mean).  how about 1.9 x 10²⁷ kg ? - that’s Jupiter.  or 1.9 x 10⁶⁰ that’s our sun!  and its not even a big one, compared to others in our galaxy, and that’s one of billions of galaxies out there. 

So look at how you percieve yourself, and you might find some interesting things out about yourself. 

Now who the hell really looks at all of these?  Is it just me, or have blogs become the new black.  What happens when the next cool toy hits the market and all these blogs get boring, we’ll have to say, “OH SUCH AND SUCH IS THE NEW BLOGS”  heehee, what a thought.  humankind loves the latest greatest. 

 Man, o-Live.  Drama drama drama.  Why do people start shit just to hear themselves bitch?  I am so tired of dealing with hard-core drama queens, and just shudder to think that there are more out there.  I left being the co-founder and prez of the local VW club because of it, and several covans went that way as well.  Two or three people stirred the shit-pot enough to cause the rest of the people to have to stop having fun, and play parents to the drama queens.

 Bitching on my own blog, does that make me a drama-queen?  I probably couldnt fit in the corset.

You know what it is? greed.  Pure and simple.
